Sensei Jesse and the dojo on Jefferson Ave

Curtis Karate is a family owned and operated karate dojo on the border of Temecula and Murrieta, at 26755 Jefferson Ave since 2015.

Sensei Jesse built it as a family-based training center that focuses not only on teaching technique, but also on building good character and bringing out the best in each student.

He has taught students at elementary schools the importance of respect, focus, stranger awareness, bully prevention and good manners, and has raised and donated $50,000 back to schools in the Temecula, Murrieta and Lake Elsinore areas.

Whether you are a white-belt beginner or an award-winning student, once you walk in the doors, you’ll feel the camaraderie in the room.

Where Character Counts

Best in Class Training
We are very proud in knowing that many of our Curtis Karate members are placed in high performance standings. At our dojo, we put the extra effort to bring out the best in our students, no matter if they are just beginning or veterans.
Family First
We believe that family is important in our dojo as much as our own families are to us. Hence, that familial respect and support remains constant within all levels of Curtis Karate relationships.
Learning Discipline
Our training discipline reaches beyond the dojo into the classroom. Parents testify that their children who are enrolled with Curtis Karate have improved their study skills, their grades and learning discipline.

What parents and students say

My son started Curtis Karate 3.5 years ago. What started as a “let’s see if he likes this” has turned into something that he loves. So much so that my husband also joined. They will get their black belts together. This place is more then just a dojo. It’s a family.

Kristina Z., in-person review

We have been taking my 8 year old son in for almost a year now and he really loves going. It feels great to find an activity that he excels at. The instructors do a great job at boosting their confidence while providing a really fun and informative class.

Curtis Karate is an above average martial arts family. With an emphasis on character building through martial arts, you are not just a number like in other dojos.
